Q: What is a live stream?
A: A live stream is a live video broadcast that comes to you via the Eckhart Tolle TV website. It takes place in real time, as the event is happening. You must log in to the website at a certain time to watch it. It is a great idea to familiarize yourself with the website prior to the live stream so you will be able to relax and enjoy the event.
Q: What do I need in order to be able to participate in this live stream event?
A: In order to participate, you will need to have a reliable computer with high speed internet access. If you are not sure what speed of internet service your computer has, phone your internet provider prior to the event and ask them so if you need to upgrade your speed you can do so. When you register, you will be provided with a password to use to log in to the website where you will be able to access the live streaming event, the video replay, and download it.

Q: Can I still access the video of the event if I missed it when it was broadcast live?
A: Yes, your live streaming ticket allows you to watch the replay video of the event online after it has taken place. The video will be up for viewing immediately concluding the live stream.
Q: Can I view the live stream on my mobile device?
A: The Live Streaming technology which is used for this event requires Flash player which means that if you are using an iPad, iPod, or smartphone to access the Live Broadcast, you will be unable to receive it. You should however be able to view the video replay of the event on your mobile device.
Q: What time will the event be happening in my time zone?
A: The event will be happening at 7:30pm Pacific Standard Time (GMT -8) sharp and will finish around 9:00pm. To determine what time the live stream event will be taking place in your time zone, please use this time zone converter.
Q: What does the live stream event cost?
A: Tickets for the live stream are $24.95, which includes a download and must be purchased prior to the event via the website. Tickets are available up until the day of the event. The download-only price is $19.95 which does not allow you to participate in the live stream. You must use a credit card (VISA, MASTER CARD, AMEX, or DISCOVER) to purchase your ticket.
Q: What happens if I forget my password?
A: You can reset your password on the website by going to this page. If you are having trouble trying to receive a new password please call Customer Service at 604-893-8500 and we can assist you in the process.
Q: What is a download?
A: A download is the transfer of a file from the internet to your personal computer. Downloading a copy of the live event means that the video file will be transferred from the internet to your computer so that you can keep it permanently and watch it whenever you like. If you do not download the live event, you will still be able to access it online for a minimum of three months after the live stream broadcast has finished.
Q: What format(s) is the download available in?
A: The download of this event is available in high bandwidth and low bandwidth versions of the following file types: MP3, MP4, WMV. The MP3 format is an audio file and is compatible with virtually any media software, while MP4 files are video files and are best if you use iTunes, WinAmp, VLC Media Player, RealPlayer, Quicktime, or most other popular media players. WMV video files must be played with Windows Media Player.
Q: What is the difference between high bandwidth and low bandwidth download files?
A: Low bandwidth files are smaller and of a lesser quality but download faster. Regular bandwidth means that they files are of a better quality but they may take longer to download.
Q: When will I be able to download the event?
A: The event will be available to download seven days after the live stream broadcast occurs.
Q: How do I download it?
A: You can download this event by following these steps:
- Login to the site here.
Once you have logged in, you will see both a section for VOD (Video-on-Demand) where you can go to re-play the sessions, also if you scroll down the page you will see a green banner with a heading which reads "Video Download".
- Under the "Video Download" banner, on the right-hand side you will see two options to choose from, "Low Bandwidth" and "Regular Bandwidth." Low bandwidth files are smaller, lesser quality but download faster and regular bandwidth are better quality files but may take longer to download.
- Once you select from these two options, a window will pop up that presents you with all the file types that we have available. MP4 video, MP3 audio, or WMV video. Click the links under the appropriate category to begin downloading the files.
Please note: After hitting a link, a box should pop up, prompting you to start the download. You may also choose to save to a specific location on your computer by right-clicking the "Download" link and selecting "Save Target As" or "Save File As" (depending on your browser). You may then specify a location on your hard drive. You can also re-name the file at this point if you wish.
