I am profoundly grateful for the opportunity to experience the universe through a human incarnation. Whether or not You have a personal or impersonal interest in my expression does not impact my gratitude for being one of your infinite manifestations.

I have profound appreciation and reverence for the diverse sentient beings with whom I share this delicate planet. As a human being, I can imagine and share in the freedom of a golden eagle, the power of a humpback whale, and the buoyant enthusiasm of a lemur.

I can peer into the heavens with admiration for the unfathomable mysteries of the astronomical Universe, and for the equally awe-inspiring dance unfolding at the subtlest level of creation.

I am grateful for the flow of sounds, sensations, images, tastes, and smells registered by and filtered through my human nervous system. Each experience, whether painful or laden with pleasure, awakens me to life and love.

Above and beyond these gifts, I am grateful for the sweet love I share with family, friends, and fellow travelers, perpetually reminding me of the bliss that flows when unity dawns.
